If you’re seeking a beach in Lincoln City with reduced crowds and no stairs, Grace Hammond Beach Access fits the bill. A lot with just a few parking spaces mid-neighborhood allows you to visit a charming “locals” stretch of beach with only a short ramp to reach the sand.
Not up to beach strolling? A brief, nearly-level walk to a bench situated a few feet above sand level gives you a full seaside vantage. Being the only seating option of its kind and prime real estate for ocean, beach, and sunset watching, you’ll want to have a backup plan in case you find it occupied.

For beach walking, it takes less than 50 steps to bury your toes in the sand. Head straight to the water (always my choice) or venture north between the ocean and houses, hotels, and – if you go far enough – the casino.
For seated viewing, a mere 30 steps reach the best public bench around.
