Spend a Week in New York City

Welcome to New York! A week in New York City. A city you’ll never get bored of because of its breathtaking mornings as the sun peeps through the skyscrapers. Letting their shadows fall behind to neon-lit evenings with busy streets and musical performances. Every day and night that you spend in NYC adds a new aura to your personality coz in the mornings you will be watching the city coming back to life. The sun shines upon them and at night you will witness the most energetic crowd with mesmerizingly lit buildings.

Here’s how newcomers to spend a week in New York City can spend a week and still want more of it.

Day 1 in NYC

If you have arrived NY at night, take a proper sleep (for those having a Jet Lag). Wake up early in the morning, freshen up, grab your favourite snack and head straight to Empire State Building. Spend your time looking at the world’s famous skyscraper and know the history behind it. At Afternoon, you will come to know about one of the coolest services for tourists, sightseeing tour, where you can explore the city (as the wheels of the bus go, round and round all through the town).

Evenings in NYC are meant to be spent at Times Square because we don’t want you to miss the Iconic restaurants. Hershey’s Chocolate World, NFL experience, Disney world for kids and loads of fun activities for you and your family.

Day 2 in NYC

Wake up from a nice slumber because putting your body at rest after a tiring day is necessary. After watching the city life closely head to Pier 83, watch the sunrise above the calm blue water and take the tour boat Circle line sightseeing Cruises and know the history of historical cruises.

By noon, you’ll find yourself roaming around in Highline Park. That has been beautifully built on old railway tracks. (You must be very hungry and tired by now) there’s a Chelsea Market nearby for you to eat all the delicious food you’ve been looking for. Spend the evening sipping on your favourite Coffee and watch NYC’s night lights. Simply hit a nearby cinema for a blockbuster movie.

Day 3 in NYC

Grab your camera and notepad coz today you are going to gather a lot of information about art, history and nature. Spend your morning at the museum mile located at the fifth avenue. You will come across a lot of museums lined up to hand you all the information you need. The perfect way to spend this day’s noon is a bike tour to Central Park where you can visit a zoo. Go for fishing to a nearby lake, have a birthday party or just stride across with your all-time favourite playlist. Take a rest in the evening or wander around the Trump Tower.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”7502″ img_size=”600*600″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]

Wake up early and head to St. Patrick’s cathedral to have a look at the sunrise over the rocks and see how darkness turns into hues of orange and red. St. Patrick’s depict the wholesomeness of ancient architecture and invites visitors from all over the world and especially from America. Eat from a restaurant and buy souvenirs from the gift and book shops near the Cathedral. A quick look at the Hudson yards in the afternoon won’t hurt but give you a chance to show your photographic skills (let the likes on IG begin!)

And when the sun sets in the evening pay homage to the martyrs of the 9/11 incident by visiting the 9/11 Memorial when it comes to life at night leaving its onlookers emotional and hypnotized (by the water) at the same time.

Day 5 in New York City

Day 5 in NYC and you have not been to The Great Statue of Liberty? Pack your bags and see the glorious Statue of Liberty early in the morning. Because you don’t want to bump into other tourists and the local visitors. At Noon, One World Observatory stands there to serve you with NYC’s top views.

Pass the evening by eating dinner at a high-profile restaurant followed by a desert and call it a day. Heading back to your hotel to stretch and sleep.

Day 6 in New York

Brooklyn Heights, a place to look at the most artistic skyline of the city. Spend the morning and afternoon while walking over the bridge and have a look at the chaos and order of the city. You can visit the restored South Seaport District, have a nice lunch. Take a rest in the noon because you woke up Evening, plan your trip to the 9/11 National Museum to look at the stuff related to that horrific incident of the past. Time at this museum passes very quickly.

Day 7 in NYC

Too much concrete can set the stone in your eyes, NYC being one of the largest Metropolitan city offers. Its tourists a Botanical Garden where 50 acres of land serves as a heaven on earth. A walk in this garden is a memory that never fades. Paired with a visit to the Brooklyn Museum will be cheery on top for it exhibits the rarest and costly art of African and Egyptian Empire.

Your days might be numbered but attractions and visiting spots in New York come to an end. Happy Travelling![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
