Battle Rock City Park
Fantastic views are visible at every angle from Battle Rock City Park. The coastline vantage stretches from the unique port of Port Orford and Battle Rock past a smattering of islets dispersed throughout the broad bay to the smooth treed hump of Humbug Mountain.

The choice at this historic park is not which view to enjoy, but from where exactly you would like to enjoy it. Stroll along the cobblestone walkway near a low wall that allows resting to reach the circular interpretive vantage point. Or put on your wind breaker and head along a winding hillside path to reach one of several benches scattered on the grassy slopes. Be sure to bring your camera as even amateur photographers can snap impressive photos at this stunning destination.
| Terrain: The cobblestone walkway is smooth and level. Paths on the hillside are pavement and moderately sloped down to the beach, some steeper than others. Hillside benches are reached via uneven dirt paths through the grass. |

| Directions: The park is right off Highway 101, and is clearly marked as you pass through Port Orford. The walkway is adjacent to the parking lot. The hillside paths and benches can be seen from above, allowing you to determine if the distance and terrain are a reasonable choice for you. |
